Part 2
The benefits of study groups
Study Groups offer other advantages in addition to gaining a
deeper understanding of class material. These include the opportunity to:
reinforce note taking. If your AP Biology notes are unclear, you can ask a
member of your study groups to assist you in the deciphering of your notes.
Each person incorporates his or her abilities onto the group, such as
organizational skills, persistency, or a capacity of memorization.
Review much more. Group members may be able to solve a calculus
problem that none would have solved individually.
Benefit from a support system. Members often hold common
goals, such a good grades. Each person’s work affects the other members,
Which result in producing compassionate members. It is fun to
study with others; the productivity allows for interesting study sessions. And
because it is fun, you spend more time studying!
