Student Success Statement

"Education is not a marathon--not a sprint."-Anonymous
My interpretation of my quote is, the author is attempting to express the importance of a constant pace within your education and the effort and time consumption that are attributed with your educational efforts. I believe education is valuable aspect with in the life of an individual. The author compares education to a marathon because education requires a constant pace and continuous effort, compared to that of a sprint which does not require a constant pace and when you sprint you are exerting all of your effort upon a small track. During a marathon you must exert a continuous amount of energy and maintain a constant pace, a marathon consumes time but compared to a sprint you have achieved a tremendous goal with in you life, therefore education can truly be equated to a marathon. Suppose a child is sprinting once has reached the ending point he has exerted all of his energy and has achieved a meager amount of distance, compared to that of a marathon which requires continuous effort but also the individual must sustain energy and therefore he or she can achieve a much more ambitious goal.

Writing Skills 1 Of 10

               Writing skills 1 of 10
Communication is one of the most important skills that an employer seeks. Therefore communication is applied into the working area through the written format.

Health professionals preserve patient charts, researchers depend on the funds that are gained through a written application process, software engineers write technical specifications, and nearly everyone composes e-mails to individuals within and outside their organization, and before you are admitted into a career interview, you will need to prepare yourself by completing cover letters and resume’s.
An individual must seriously evaluate themselves upon their writing skills and exhibit all of your effort upon every written assignment, or every new post you transcribe on your blog site, and every writing activity you are engaged with in, if you develop your writing skills you are preparing yourself for a proper career.

Student Success Statement

              Student Success Statement

" Your future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow."- Robert Kiyosaki
The statement suggests that we must focus on the present situations in order to shape success if we desire. If we decide to be inactive what will we succeed, success is derived from our present actions, and therefore our future is decided by our present actions. If you were to state that you would become a successful business man, would other individuals not inquire upon your motives and ask you what would you do to become a successful business man? would you provide a thorough explanation? or would you presume you would become a successful business man as if it were predetermined? Therefore the individual who is prepared to provide an explanation is an individual who is actively shaping his life, and the individual who presumes he will succeed is an individual who is inactive with in the process of creating a proper life so therefore he or she has not utter purpose.

The Power Of Study Groups Part 3

           The Power Of Study Groups
                                                          part 3
Guide lines For Working Together
Here are some guidelines for creating and operating a study group: How many? Create a group of four to six people. In a larger group, it is easy for someone to find themselves overwhelmed and smaller groups can easily distract themselves.
Why? Pick classmates who seem to share your interest in progression and doing well academically. Observe your classmates and evaluate the alumni who are alert, who take notes, and ask questions and respond to the instructor’s questions. Include someone who understands the material much better than you do and can explain the concepts to an individual who has not grasp the concept in order to be able to explain the concept.
Where? Conduct study sessions in a locale that is free of distractions and that has room in order to spread out you materials such as notebooks and textbooks.
How long? Meet for two to three hours at a time. Having a time limit allows the group to focus. If you know you have a time limit the group’s productivity will increase.
When? Try to meet regularly, on the same day and time each week.

Treating study sessions with a sense of urgency as you would any activities allows you to keep a schedule and ensure that everyone attends.

                                                  Part 2

The benefits of study groups
Study Groups offer other advantages in addition to gaining a deeper understanding of class material. These include the opportunity to: reinforce note taking. If your AP Biology notes are unclear, you can ask a member of your study groups to assist you in the deciphering of your notes. Each person incorporates his or her abilities onto the group, such as organizational skills, persistency, or a capacity of memorization.
Review much more. Group members may be able to solve a calculus problem that none would have solved individually.
Benefit from a support system. Members often hold common goals, such a good grades. Each person’s work affects the other members,

Which result in producing compassionate members. It is fun to study with others; the productivity allows for interesting study sessions. And because it is fun, you spend more time studying!

You may have noticed when you are explaining something you have learned to an associate, you begin to understanding the material toward a better extent. This happens because, when you explain a concept, you must formulate a proper explanation and therefore think and produce a speech.
The same principle allows study groups to be productive. Studying with others in a small group because you:
·       Think from an auditory aspect
·       Share ideas
·       Learn from one another
In an effective study group, you and other students organize lesson materials together-explaining concepts, debating about the concept, answering questions pertaining to the subject, and in the process you will likely learn much more relative to solitary study.

7 Habits of highly Successful Children

7 Habits of Highly Successful Students Part 2
Habit 2: Begin with the end in Mind
If children are not clear about what they want to do in their lifetime, they may not be sure about their values, their goals, and their ideals. Help your child create their own proper objective which will serve as their template and through that template they will build a road that will act as their guide toward the decision making process.
“Keep your eyes on the price.” Determine your objectives and persevere until they have realized and achieved their objective. Then set another goal or objective that you would proceed to achieve.

Begin with the achievement of your particular objective and visualize then realize. Start by targeting your objective cerebrally: you have to know what you want to achieve.
One objective you must establish for yourself is the prize of an honorable graduation from high school- but you must receive your diploma honestly and with integrity.
