"The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing up for what is right is a true test of moral character."-Margaret Chase Smith
This quote conveys the never ending threat of peer pressure upon the general population. those who allow themselves to succumb to the grasp of improper actions are individuals in need of acceptance, suppose a child is asked by his friends to throw a rock at a stranger, the child proceeds to refuse, the other individuals offer to form a friendship with him if he were to throw the rock, the child contemplates the choices and decides that he would rather be accepted by this group of individuals, so he proceeds to throw the rock. The need for acceptance is one of the stimulants that provokes an individual to commit an action once he or she is pressured by a group of individuals.

"Tis the set of the sail"
Ella Wheeler Wilcox 1916
But to every mind there openeth,
A way, and a way,and away,
A high soul climbs the highway,
And a low soul gropes the way,
and in between on the misty flats,
the rest drift to and flow.
But to everyman there openeth,
a high way and a low,
and every mind decideth,
the way his soul shall go.
One ship sails east,
and abother west,
by the self-same winds that blow,
'tis  is the set of sails,
and not the gales,
that tells the way to go.
Like the winds of the sea are the waves of time,
'Tis the set of the soul.
That determines the goal,
And not the calm or the strife.

Recommended classes for university Success

The academic rigor of your high-school courses is an important factor in the university application admission process. The college admission officers observe your high-school course schedule in order to select a proper candidate. They are searching for an applicant with a proper foundation of education that can be expanded upon in university.
To create the foundation, participate in at least five rigorous academic courses every semester. Begin with basic courses and then traverse onto the advanced. Challenging your ability is an aspect that intrigues many students; but you need a firm understanding of the fundamentals in order to advance onto more rigorous academic courses.

Student Success Statement

        Student Success Statement
“ A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder”- Thomas Carlyle
I agree with this statement, without a rudder a ship cannot be propelled this can be compared to a man without a goal, the man cannot propel himself in any direction. The rudder represents navigational stability, a man without goals wanders endlessly through life at a rather slow pace, he has nothing to expect of himself and no motivation that can ensue propulsion. The rudder is an important part of a ship, if a rudder malfunctions the ship cannot propel itself properly, and therefore a man cannot navigate, propel, or compose himself without a goal. A ship without a rudder cannot sustain stability, such as a man without goals cannot maintain stability within his life. Propulsion is ensued through stimulation from the ships power source and the helmsman. A man without goals has been deprived of a purpose and a motivation and therefore cannot complete or formulate goals, he is left wandering desperately through and endless stretch of sea, with no goals to provide buoyancy or navigation.

The Power Of Study Groups Part 4

         The Power Of Study Groups

                                                           Part 4

Extracting the most benefit from a session
Here are some tips to help your group extract the most benefit from a study session:
·       Decide what you are going to do in advance.
·       Prepare for a session, in order to benefit from your time as a group.
·       Distribute teaching duties in order to reinforce your knowledge.
·       Focus upon the session’s topic.

By supplementing your individual study with a study group, you can reinforce what you have learned, deepen your understanding of complex subjects, and even acquaint yourself with new individuals.
Remember that a person who is a friend encourages you to exhibit your maximum potential and achieve your goals, one who encourages you to attempt to try a complex and proper activity. If someone tries to corrupt you and attempts to ruin your life, then those are not friends, (they are actually your enemies), and you must avoid them. Whoever said learning cannot be enjoyable? Learning is enjoyable and enticing when you study with others.

The Power Of Study Groups Part 3

           The Power Of Study Groups
                                                          part 3
Guide lines For Working Together
Here are some guidelines for creating and operating a study group: How many? Create a group of four to six people. In a larger group, it is easy for someone to find themselves overwhelmed and smaller groups can easily distract themselves.
Why? Pick classmates who seem to share your interest in progression and doing well academically. Observe your classmates and evaluate the alumni who are alert, who take notes, and ask questions and respond to the instructor’s questions. Include someone who understands the material much better than you do and can explain the concepts to an individual who has not grasp the concept in order to be able to explain the concept.
Where? Conduct study sessions in a locale that is free of distractions and that has room in order to spread out you materials such as notebooks and textbooks.
How long? Meet for two to three hours at a time. Having a time limit allows the group to focus. If you know you have a time limit the group’s productivity will increase.
When? Try to meet regularly, on the same day and time each week.

Treating study sessions with a sense of urgency as you would any activities allows you to keep a schedule and ensure that everyone attends.

You may have noticed when you are explaining something you have learned to an associate, you begin to understanding the material toward a better extent. This happens because, when you explain a concept, you must formulate a proper explanation and therefore think and produce a speech.
The same principle allows study groups to be productive. Studying with others in a small group because you:

In an effective study group, you and other students organize lesson materials together-explaining concepts, debating about the concept, answering questions pertaining to the subject, and in the process you will likely learn much more relative to solitary study.

We must then begin through improve upon our imperfection, but an important factor in the improvement cycle is our will to improve and the acceptance of the need to improve. Such as myself i had to improve upon my organization, but what had contradicted with my improvement is my tenacity to accept my need for improvement, until i had accepted the need for improvement i was able to properly improve.

Through this habit, children learn that they must consider the ideas of other group members. Synergy allows children to value differences and appreciate others. Synergy is the reward, the fruit that you will gather, you will gather this fruit In a vast quantity once you acquire more habits such as the win-win habit and the habits known as seeking first to understand. Learning to synergize can be equated toward forming V shape formations with others instead of working in solitude. You will be amazed

A proper band is a sign of synergy. It is not just the percussion instruments, or the guitar, or the saxophone, or the vocalist. It is the unification of the band.
