You need to be much more productive than just read the chapters you are assigned- you are expected to understand the readings perfectly and thoroughly.

·       Do no skim. Read and understand the reading.

·       Elapse difficult sections and organize the reading in order to absorb the information properly.

·       Research words or phrases you cannot comprehend.

·       Pause during readings to ensure your understand the material; ask questions in class about anything you do not comprehend.

·       Take notes during the reading-This assists you during your memorization phase and allows you to rephrase important segments of the reading.

·       Create a summary: summarize the reading and prove your understanding of the subject.
