Selecting your Courses Part 2

             Selecting Your courses Part 2
The following subjects and classes are necessary for success in high school and beyond, whether you attend a four year university or a two year community college.

English (language arts)
Attend an English class every year. Traditional courses, such American literature, assist you in the improvement of your writing and literature skills, such as reading and vocabulary skills.
Mathematics
Algebra and geometry are necessary to succeed during university entrance exams and in higher education arithmetic courses- and in many careers. Enter mathematics classes early in your academic career. Therefore you will be able to apply for advanced mathematics and science courses.
Most higher education institutions seek students who have taken three years of mathematics in high schools. The more competitive higher level institutions require four years. Each school facilitates their own program, but some of these programs are typically offered:
·        Algebra
·        Algebra 2
·        Geometry
·        Trigonometry
·        Calculus
